VOCI are a female voice choir based in Waterford City in the South East of Ireland. Since its establishment in 2005, the choir has made a valuable contribution to the musical life of the city, giving recitals and sharing concerts with local and visiting groups. Voci has had competitive successes at the Kilkenny, Arklow and New Ross Choral Festivals.
In March 2019, the choir travelled to the International Choral Festival in Rome. On the same trip, they performed at the St. Patrick’s Days Mass in the Irish College in Rome in the presence of the American Ambassador to Italy.
The choir’s repertoire includes a wide range of music from early sacred and classical, to arrangements of light music and contemporary music by Irish composers. The choir generally performs two concerts per year (December and May).
